Organization

Malden High School is organized as a House System. Each House has its own administrator (House Principal), guidance counselor, and secretary. Each House is balanced by race and by gender. House Principals and guidance counselors maintain their relationship with students for 4 years and develop a close relationship with the student and his/her family through phone calls, meetings, and frequent correspondence. Guidance counselors provide Malden High School students with a blueprint for success while at MHS and beyond. Students work with their House guidance counselor to select an appropriate course of study, apply to colleges, seek assistance with personal problems, or pursue internships or summer jobs.
